"I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY DID THAT!"

Marxism is alive and well in the U.S House of representatives.

The Food Safety Enhancement Act was rushed through the HR at the last moment before summer adjournment. I doubt seriously if the members had even read the bill they voted to

make law.

The act mandates that every form of food production be monitored, regulated and controlled

at all levels by the federal government under the direction of the Food SafetyCzar.

All food production, from how it is grown to how it is processed, packaged, shipped, and stored will be controlled by the government. This is all in the name of protecting public health.

There is nothing in the act that specifies how food will be any more safe or pure. It is merely an extension of government interference with private business and in our lives. It establishes another police agency with unlimited enforcement power.

American's freedom has been gradually usurped over the years, increased by FDR , enhanced by the Patriot Act, and now accelerated by the uncontrolled treasonable group in congress, led by the Obama fellow travelers.

The Hatman has tears today for the American dream of freedom and self government that has been lost.
