LET'S GO TO THE GROCERY STORE

If you are believing any forecast for 2010 that does not include a food shortage. then
throw it out because this will be the event for 2010. According to Eric deCarbonnel in his Lew Rockwell.com article, the food crises this year is inevitable because of crop failures largely weather caused in 2008 and 2009. He didn't mention the transfer of corn over to ethanol production, a second cause for concern.

Look for higher--much higher prices of foods in the grocery store and possibly some shortages and bare shelves. The U. S. provides up to 40 % of the world's foodstuffs
and we are used to abundance of food and thousands of choices. de Carbonnel envisions other cataclysmic financial consequences, this being the catalyst that causes the world debt house of cards to fall . We will see. . ? ??

As a preview, the supermarkets in the Northeast have been experiencing shortages
since December, where in the severe cold has caused people to stock up, hoard and empty the shelves faster than the re-stocking can replace items. Anecdotally,
the items to go first were bread and toilet paper. Got your Sears and Roebuck catalog?

With Love and Kindness,

THE HATMAN
