OBAMA'S FIRST YEAR--WHAT HAS HE DONE?

Or maybe the question is what has he not done? The list of not done is much longer.

The January 22 deadline he set to close Guantanamo Bay prison camp has come and gone Some prisoners have been relocated, but the prison still is in operation,

presumably with torture and all, none of the inmates have received habeus corpus

right.

The hateful healthcare reform bill finally passed congress , but still is not law. They made presidential sought concessions which has infuriated his liberal supporters,

thus losing a large core of his support.

The president continues to talk and talk and talk. His egocentricity demands that he be popular with friends and enemies alike. In Cairo he was the friend of the muslims, shortly following, drones bombed civilian targets in Pakistan. In Oslo he accepted the Nobel peace prize while escalating the war in Afghanistan. He sought to oppose the genocide in Gaza, yet it went unabated using U.S. provided weapons.

Not to offend the generals and weapons providers, he determined to send an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan, in spite of his many declarations of stopping

the wars. We see a changing in his speech in Oslo, when after making the obligatory references to Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela he began talking of the "just war". We sense a disappointment among the idealistic former supporters,

believing in real change, but the only change they see is the new Obama the warrior and weenie.

His drone missile attacks in Pakistan and recurring excursion of U. S forces

crossing the border from Afghanistan into Pakistan is merely enlarging the existing war, a prelude to a new war in Pakistan.

Today the U.S. is messing around attacking targets in Yemen , based upon reported

Al Queda cells there. The almost bombing of a plane bound for Detroit smacks as a false flag event to support actions against citizens of Yemen.

Does it seem like G.W. Bush is still in charge? Well maybe it is his Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates who still occupies this post. Secretary of State Hillary

Clinton is a loose cannon, who can be counted on to make irresponsible remarks

such as obliterating Iran if they attacked Israel with nuclear weapons [they don't have].

President Obama has continued and doubled the deficit spending of the Bush administration in an a futile attempt to end the recession . He had a jobs meeting with his government lackeys, failing to come up with notable relief of the ongoing job losses. He continues to be at the beck and call of big banking and big corporate interests. We need a champion in the White House, we have a doofus.

With Love and Kindness,

THE HATMAN
